The following details three different routes to get to Telluride from Denver:
Route 285 out of Denver
-Take 285 out of Denverthrough Fairplay to Buena Vista to Poncha Springs
-West on Route 50 to Montrose
-South on 550 to Ridgway
-West on Route 62 for 22 miles
-Big green sign indicates a left turn to Telluride on 145 South
-Follow 145 for 14.4 miles to Mountain Village Blvd
-Left onto Mountain Village Blvd
-Travel 2.2 miles
-Turn left on San Joaquin Blvd (across from the Mountain Village Market)
-Bear Creek Lodge is located .4 miles on the right
I-70 out of Denver to Grand Junction
-Take 1-70 West out of Denver almost to Grand Junction
-Take Clifton exit (the second exit for business route 70—Exit #37) to Route 141
-Follow Route 141 to Route 50—becomes 550 in Montrose
-Follow Route 550 South (left off of 141) to Ridgway
-Turn right onto Route 62; follow for 22 miles
-Big green sign indicates a left turn to Telluride on 145 South
-Follow 145 for 14.4 miles to Mountain Village Blvd
-Left onto Mountain Village Blvd
-Travel 2.2 miles
-Turn left on San Joaquin Blvd (across from the Mountain Village Market)
-Bear Creek Lodge is located .4 miles on the right
I-70 out of Denver to Glenwood Springs
-Take I-70 west out of Denver to Glenwood Springs
-Take Route 82 to Carbondale
-Turn off (right) into Carbondale putting you onto Route 133
-Follow Route 133 all the way to Delta and Route 50
-Turn left onto Route 50—becomes 550 in Montrose
-Follow Route 550 South to Ridgway
-Turn right onto Route 62; follow for 22 miles
-Big green sign indicates a left turn to Telluride on 145 South
-Follow 145 for 14.4 miles to Mountain Village Blvd
-Left onto Mountain Village Blvd
-Travel 2.2 miles
-Turn left on San Joaquin Blvd (across from the Mountain Village Market)
-Bear Creek Lodge is located .4 miles on the right
From Durango
-Go West on US-160 towards Mancos and Cortez
-After approximately 26 miles, at the stoplight, turn right onto 184 towards Dolores.
-At the stop sign turn right onto HWY 145 going into Dolores.
-Continue through Dolores on HWY 145 for approximately 60 miles.
Keep your eyes open for a right turn onto Mountain Village Blvd and the Telluride Ski Resort.
-Turn right onto Mountain Village Blvd
-Travel 2.2 miles
-Turn left on San Joaquin Blvd (across from the Mountain Village Market)
-Bear Creek Lodge is located .4 miles on the right
From Cortez
-From Cortex find CO 145 going North towards Dolores.
-Stay on CO 145 for approximately 68 miles
-Turn right onto Mountain Village Blvd
-Travel 2.2 miles
-Turn left on San Joaquin Blvd (across from the Mountain Village Market)
-Bear Creek Lodge is located .4 miles on the right
-There is only one road into the town of Telluride. Whether you are coming north or south on highway 145 you will take the road into town heading east. The turn off is well marked.
-You will enter the town of Telluride three miles after the turn.
-Once you enter town you will be on Main Street.
-Go approximately six blocks and turn right (heading south) on Aspen St.
-The San Sophia is on the corner of Pacific and Aspen, which is the next block.
-Please take advantage of our parking garage located on the west side of the building.
